Cory Neale is an architect and a visual and sonic artist from Philadelphia. His work has been displayed as part of the Carpenter’s Hall 200th Anniversary Exhibit, in Old City Philadelphia as part of “Windows Throughout Old City,” at the Fleisher Art Memorial, in the Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce, and is held in private collections around the country. The subjects of his watercolors and drawings are approached with the rigor of his education in architecture combined with a willingness to improvise reflecting his practice in music and sound design. He explores abstractions of cityscape, landscape, and domestic motifs to capture moments of light and space displayed in rich, evocative color. His love of the arts extends into education through programming with the Philadelphia Dept. of Parks and Recreation and Moore College of Art & Design's Interior Design certificate and youth programs.
